NEW MEMBER ONLY WORKSHOP
This workshop is for new members only. You are considered a new member for 6 months after joining
In this workshop you will have a chance to learn some of the techniques for cutiing a circle. The end product will be a shallow 8" bowl.

Once your circle is cut, you will have a chance to embellish it using materials such as: scrap glass, dots, frit, stringers, noodles, etc. The instructor will have some embellishment materials available for those who need them. Please have a design in mind. Your design can have a holiday or seasonal theme, or even be abstract. You can also get ideas from Pinterest.
You must bring the following supplies to this workshop:
* a PRECUT sheet of 9”x9” clear OR black opal COE 96 glass (If you need help cutting this, call Judy at 763.516.1769 the week before the workshop, and she'll meet you at the studio.)
* embellishment materials (scrap glass, dots, stringers, frit, etc), if you have some
YOU MUST ALSO BRING THE FOLLOWING BASIC FUSING MATERIALS:
* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)
* Glues: Elmer’s (clear or white), Needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray
* Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil
* Other helpful items:Tweezers, Toothpicks, A carrying box for projects
* Safety Items: Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes, Band-aids
* Bring a firing ticket!
