Workshop Level: Intermediate: Able to design and create simple projects with minimal guidance; trained on all studio equipment.

In this class we will make an Iris flower design and attach it to a heart shaped wire form with an attached crystal.

The instructor will collect $2 for the ring and $1 for the crystal on the day of the class. The pattern will be provided.

General supplies to bring to class:

• Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, mat and push pins for the pattern.
• For the pattern two shades of glass are used for the iris plus a small amount of accent color. You will also need green for the leaves. The amount of glass needed is minimal. A good time to use scraps.
• Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil
• Other helpful items: A carrying box for projects, 60/40 solder, gel flux and brush, black patina and brush, wax.
