ADVANCED FRIT ROOM WORKSHOP
If you would like an entry level class for working with ENAMELS, this is for you. Many have seen my framed Poppy pictures in the studio -- that is what we will be doing. This is not a complex class, but the instructions are crucial when working with enamels.
There will be a $5 fee as I am supplying the enamel, medium, squeegees, paint brushes and the use of my silk screens and almost everything else you will need to complete this project. You literally do not need to buy supplies as they can be expensive. I want you to experience using this method before investing in it.
You will need to bring:
A 12" x 12" piece of Opaque White glass that we will cut in class
Your p-100 mask.
8" x 8" or larger cake pan for cleaning the silk screen. Dollar store has aluminum pans that are fine for this
Some paper towel for clean-up
Measuring spoons for measuring the enamel and medium into the container that I will supply
A hair dryer is essential.
Toothpicks or craft knife
Butter dish for water
A 5" x 7" frame of your choice. This is essential to have the first day for this project.
Your cutting tools
Your firing ticket
