Intermediate Level: This class REQUIRES both fusing and mosaic/grouting experience and supplies.

Let’s create a landscape scene in miniature of fused glass on a framed mosaic shadow box.

On day 1 in this class you will use your mosaic building skills to cover the bottom of a 4” x 6” shadow box frame, and create miniature fused glass embellishments for your landscape. Those could include pieces to create a southwest village scene, urban scene, trees, mountain, holiday scenes. You will prepare these on a 6” x 6” tile for firing. You will turn in your tile for firing as we wait for the glue to dry 24 hours on the frame.

On day 2 we tape off and grout the frame.

On day 3 you will seal the grout lines on your piece. And, gather your fused embellishments to create your scene by gluing them onto the frame as we oooh and awwww your creations!  1/2 hr each side on day three; all three days in Frit Room.
