An opportunity to  make a fun Easter/Spring Creation of your choice.

      


Make a Easter Wave: The Easter Wave in the photo is 5X7 and fit nicely in this mold RE17, As long as you stay in the 8X12 mold space, this will work for you.  Bring background glass, I prefer clear or transparent.  Color glass for the Eggs n Bunny, orange and green for carrots, dots, vitrograph and any embellishments you would like to use.

Make a Easter Platter:   -orange glass for carrots- medium green frit for carrot top- medium red frit for hearts and/or  

 actual small glass heart, - clear powdered frit for platter- white fine frit for clouds, - white frit for bunny tail ,  fine/medium - DON’T FORGET the BUNNY TAIL!, - medium brown frit for garden,      (instructor can provide for $2), - yellow glass for sun,- brown or white for bunny (to be cut on ring saw) OR other color of your choice, - dots for bunny eye - your choice of color, - glass for bunny nose & ears (pink if possible) color is your choice.  The Platter is 6X12.


Please make sure your glass is clean and all labels and underneath glue has been removed.

You will have firing and slumping fees as needed. 

Should you want to pick out you own mold, please do this in advance of class so you can start your project at the start of the class with everyone.  This project would be a great Easter Candy dish.  Almost any mold can be used for you vision of Easter!!


General supplies to bring to class: 

* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)

* Glues: Elmer’s (clear or white), Needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray

* Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil

* Other helpful items:Tweezers, Toothpicks, A carrying box for projects

* Safety Items: P-100 Mask, Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes, Band-aids

* Bring a firing ticket!
