Workshop level: Intermediate: this class is for students who know how to do Stained glass but want to continue learning using the strip cutter.

The pattern is a Southwestern Design with multiple colors.  The pattern will be provided.  You will need to bring all of your own glass, supplies, and tools.  The size is 10” x 10”.  The suggested colors are turquoise, amber, gold, orange, and clear.  You can make the design any color you want.  I would suggest about 1/2 sheet of each of your color choices. You will need to bring 4 layout strips to hold the edges in place to keep it square.

General supplies to bring to class: 

• Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, work board and tacks, foil scissors 
• Black backed copper foil 1/4 inch, 60/40 solder, Classic Gel Flux, Black Patina
• Pledge wax or any kind of wax
• Writing Tools: Black and Silver Sharpies, fid, flux brush, toothbrush, small towel, rubber gloves.
• Other helpful items: A carrying box for projects
• Safety Items: Safety glasses, Closed-toe shoes, Band-aids
