BEGINNERS LEVEL

This workshop is for students who know how to do stained glass but want to continue learning.  The design is a heart with a partial sunflower inside.  

The design is a heart with a partial sunflower inside. The pattern will be provided. You will need to bring all of your own glass, supplies, and tools. The size is 6“ x 5 1/2“. Each person will need to bring half sheet of yellow for the petals, a small piece for the center of the flower, either Amber or brown, and a small piece of blue for around the flower edges.

Each person will need:

• a half sheet of yellow for the petals
• a small piece for the center of the flower (amber or brown)
• a small piece of blue for around the flower
• a work board
• tacks
• grozing pliers
• breaking pliers
• cutter
• 60/40 solder
• 1/4" black backed copper foil
• gel flux and brush
• black patina and toothbrush
• fid
• foil scissors
• regular scissors
• polish
