BEGINNER LEVEL WORKSHOP:
Like the idea of a watercolor effect stencil between 2 layers of glass? This process uses Glassline paint, papyros paper and stencils to create a "shabby chic" watercolor effect design.

There is a $2.00 class fee as the instructor will provide the glassline paint, sponge pounces, stencils to use (I have a lot that I bring for your use), coarse clear frit, and the needed papyros paper for this project. If you have your own stencils and glassline paint, feel free to bring them along. The stencil must not be any larger than 5 x 3" for this project.
This class has two firingsl The first is the fusing of the pieces together and the second, should you decide to do it, is to slump it into Mold #RE 3 (soap dish). We will fill out the firing slips at the beginning of the class.
Besides the general supplies listed below, you will need to bring:
Two 6" x 4" pieces of clear 96 COE glass, cleaned and all stickers removed.
A plastic container for water (butter dish works well)
Several plastic lids for resting pounce/brushes on
1" soft paint brush (does not need to be an expensive brush)
Elmer's glue or blue Glastac gel
A hair dryer with a low setting if you have one.
A mat or paper to place your project on to protect the tables.
General supplies to bring to class:
* Glass cutting tools: Toyo Cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)
