Workshop level: Intermediate: Must already know how to do copper foil method of stain glass.

In this class you will learn how to make a six-sided heart spinner.  The pattern will be available.  You will need to bring all of your own glass, supplies, and tools. You will make six individual panels that will then be connected into a spinner. We will probably not complete the spinner in these two classes, but we will schedule more days for later. 

If you have a spinner jig, please bring it to class to make putting your heart together easier. You will probably need one sheet of red, one sheet of pink, and half sheet of white. If you choose to use other colors plan accordingly. Remember, you are making six individual panels. Each panel is approximately 5” x 5” times the six panels so you will need to plan your glass for this amount.

General supplies to bring to class:

• Must have a board and the metal side strips to hold the pattern.
• Toyo cutter
• Writing Tools: Black and silver Sharpie
• Running pliers
• Grozers
• Work board and push pins
• Solder 6/40
• Classic Gel flux
• Black patina for solder
• 7/32 black backed copper foil or 1/4" your choice
• Fid
• Hand towel
• Carrying box for projects
• Band aids
