INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: Able to design and create simple projects with minimal guidance, trained on all studio equipment. Fusers are learning about special firing programs.
Knowledge and experience creating an optics project will facilitate this larger-scale project creating an optics piece that is somewhere between 10x10 and 12x12 (depending on the mold size you choose) If slumping, you will be firing it (3)) three times.

You will need approximately three tubes of stringers, 1 12x12 sheet of clear glass, as well as approximately another 6x12 sheet of clear, or larger pieces that can be cut into squares. (The amount of clear glass you need will depend on how high your stacks of glass squares go. Can be between 1-3 glass squares high. This will be discussed in the first class, so you will have the information you need before the second class.)
General supplies to bring to class:
* Glass cutting tools: Toyo cutter, Running Pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Cutting Surface
* Glues: Elmer's (clear or white) or Glass Tac Gel
* Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine & bold) Pen & Pencil
