Learn to use the vitrigraph kiln to make your own sqwiggle, wiggle, and curve stringers while using up some of your scrap glass (Note- the day before requirements below.)
This class with make Yellow/Green stringers. Students supply 1/2 c. opaque Yellow/Green scrap glass, 1/2 c. transparent Yellow/Green scrap glass, and 1/2 c. clear scrap glass. All glass must be clean COE 96 and cut into approximately 1" pieces.
Put your glass in a zip lock bag with your name on it and place it in the box marked "Vitragraph Class" in the Ramada by noon THE DAY BEFORE CLASS. The box will be on the table to the left of the door into the Ramada. Class meets in the Ramada.
General supplies to bring to class:
Wear closed toe shoes, a long sleeve cotton shirt, long pants (jeans work best). If you have long hair, it must be tied back away from your face. Bring safety glasses, and a carry box to take your stringers home
