Beginner Level 

Have  fun making 3 easy plant stakes.

The instructor will provide each student with 3 metal stakes that can hold an approximately 4 x 6 " insert. These "seed packet" inserts will be cut from clear glass and embellished with glass, dots, cutouts and frit provided by the student.

Each student should bring one 3mm 12 x 12" sheet of clear glass of your choosing. The student should plan on bringing opal or translucent glass scraps to create a design of their choosing. 

The student will be responsible for the firing fees and will reimburse the instructor for the $12 cost of the plant stakes.

Supplies to have readily available for all workshops to be fully prepared:Cutting tools, Running pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Elmer's (clear or white), Needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray, Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Tweezers , Toothpicks, Pen and Pencil, P-100 mask, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best). Carrying box for projects, Band-aids, Safety glasses and closed toe shoes.
