Workshop Level:  ALL LEVELS WELCOME

Beginner: Learning how to cut basic shapes and follow a line; familiar with basic tools and supplies.

This is a one-day workshop where we will be creating 3-4 small Christmas ungrouted ornaments with glass and crushed glass on both precut wood shapes such as trees, candy canes, snowflakes, angels... and inside of scallop shells. We will be donating 1-2 of these ornaments to the Glass club for their Christmas sale and sharing some with family and friends at the Holidays!

$10.00 due to instructor to pay for club supplies (glass and wood ornaments).

$3.00 due to instructor to pay for shell ornament bases and crushed glass and assorted decorating elements.

General supplies to bring to class: 

Glass cutting tools:

• Toyo Cutter
• Running Pliers
• Grozers
• Nippers
• Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best)

• Glues: Elmer’s (clear or white) for crushed glass and Wellbond glue for glass pieces

• Writing Tools: Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Pen & Pencil

• Tweezers
• Toothpicks
• Carrying box for projects
