Learn to use the vitrigraph kiln to make your own Twisted cane while using up some of your scrap glass.

This class will make GREEN and RED twisted cane. Students supply 1/2 c. green scrap glass (mixed opaque and Transparent), 1/2 c. Red scrap glass (mixed opaque and Transparent), and 1/2 c. clear scrap glass. All glass must be clean COE 96 and cut into approximately 1" pieces. Put your glass in separate a zip lock bags with your name on it and place it in the box marked "Vitrigraph Class" in the Ramada by noon THE DAY BEFORE CLASS. The box will be on the table to the left of the door into the Ramada.

Class meets in the Ramada.

Wear closed toe shoes, a long sleeve cotton shirt, long pants (jeans work best). If you have long hair, it must be tied back away from your face.

Bring safety glasses, and a carry box to take your stringers home.
