GREAT FOR BEGINNERS AS WELL AS INTERMEDIATE

In this class, you will learn the steps to make a funky, wonky fused glass star in the style of your choice.

Students need to bring enough glass to make the arms of the star, and desired embellishments. Star arms are approximately 5 - 3 inches in length.

Students should bring one 6 x 6 tile that is covered with papyros kiln paper.

Instructors will also bring some cardboard to build additional stars on if you desire to and if you have supplies and time, however you must have papyros kiln paper for each star that you wish to make.

Supplies to have readily available for all workshops to be fully prepared:

* Toyo Cutter

* Running Pliers

* Grozers

* Nippers

GLUES

* Elmer’s (clear or white)

* a carrying box for projects

* band aids

* safety glasses

* closed-toe shoes

To cancel a workshop, members must submit a cancellation notice to the website calendar administrator, at events.GVRGAC@gmail.com

Effective June 1st, members scheduled for a workshop must cancel their signup at least 48 hours in advance (with exceptions in the event of an emergency).  If a member does not show up for a workshop , w/o proper notification given, they will be prohibited from registering for another workshop for 3 months.
