CL Christmas tree wave - Layton/Howard

Create a wave of varied sizes of trees.


Student will cut a curve in a 12 x 12 sheet of glass creating two possible waves. The student will cut out triangles of various sizes for trees. The trees may be any color, opal or translucent glass. The trees can be decorated with stringers and dots or left plain. If the student wishes to embellish the scene with "snow" using white medium frit. They may also create snowflakes with stringers.

Students provide their own COE 96 glass, bring a 12x12 sheet plus any other glass you might want to use.  Some embellishments and stringers will be available from the instructors for $2.

Supplies to have readily available for all workshops to be fully prepared: Cutting tools, Running pliers, Grozers, Nippers, Elmer's (clear or white), Needle nosed bottle with non-aerosol hairspray, Black Sharpies (fine and regular), Tweezers , Toothpicks, Pen and Pencil, P-100 mask, Cutting Surface (Quilt-type mats work best). Carrying box for projects, Band-aids, Safety glasses and closed toe shoes.
